he RAF Judo Association is dedicated to promoting the Olympic sport of judo throughout the Royal Air Force. Our aim is to provide opportunities for everyone, from those trying judo for the first time to seasoned masters (over 30) and international competitors.
We have RAF Station clubs located at Honington, Marham, and Waddington, where service personnel are warmly welcomed. Additionally, we maintain strong links with local civilian judo clubs, ensuring a broad network of support and training opportunities.
Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events, typically based at RAF Cosford, with opportunities for travel to competitions and overseas visits. One of the highlights of our annual calendar is the Festival of Judo, usually held in September. This event is a key focus for attracting beginners to the sport while also welcoming players of all levels. The Festival culminates in the RAF Championships, showcasing the talent and dedication of judo practitioners within the RAF.
Whether you are new to judo or an experienced practitioner, we offer a supportive and dynamic environment to develop your skills. We are committed to fostering a love for judo and helping players of all ages and abilities reach their full potential.
