RAF Hockey

RAF Hockey Association

The aim of the RAF Hockey Association (RAFHA) is to promote Hockey throughout the Royal Air Force and encourage personal fitness and healthy living through sport.  We run five competitive teams at Inter-Service level (Men’s, Women’s, Men’s and Women’s Masters (over 35s) and a Men’s under 25.

We also host a mixed tournament against England Mixed each year in July. We also aim to organise a major tour every four years on average with the Men and women having returned in June 2018 from a highly successful tour to Japan. RAFHA offers a wide range of activities to all personnel, from beginners at club level to those who have gained international honours in recent years.

You can also come along to our Hockey champs which we hold at RAF Halton each July– you do not need to be part of a team as we mix everyone up over the two days. You can also join your Station hockey team and come along to the annual inter-station competition each April and Oct. Many Stations also take part in monthly regional leagues against other Service units.
