The RAF Football Association (RAFFA) was established in 1920 and operates as a County Level organisation affiliated with the Football Association. We are committed to providing structured opportunities for all serving personnel and associated civilians to participate in football, regardless of age, colour, or gender.
Headquartered at RAF Brize Norton, the association benefits from a full-time staff that collaborates closely with the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee. Together, they manage various aspects of the sport, including coaching, discipline, refereeing, communications, sponsorship, and finance. RAFFA ensures that football is organised in accordance with the strategies and regulations set forth by the Football Association.
Participating in football with us not only allows you to join the UK’s most popular sport but also offers numerous professional development benefits. Football enhances key skills such as leadership, communication, resilience, and teamwork. These attributes are invaluable in both professional and personal contexts, making football an ideal activity for skill development.
